What's this Vezani thing anyway?

Vezani is an isiNdebele word meaning to reveal something hidden. Our passion is to see children able to experience their lives in their native languages and through that relate to their world in cultural context. We believe that learning to read is an essential part of this. Having tried unsuccessfully to find books for our son who we speak to in Setswana and Ndebele, we started Vezani Publishing to make children's books and parent resources available for others in a similar situation. While we're big believers in traditional books we're also excited by the language opportunities presented by new media - the internet, eBooks, apps etc so expect to see us doing lots of that.

How about other southern African Languages?

We've started with what we know but are very interested in extending this website to other languages. Please contact us if you've any suggestions or questions in this respect

How can I contact you?

How much is delivery?

Delivery cost will vary according to your destination. The standard delivery cost is for a registered article and depending on the services available, some destinations may allow for fast-tracked delivery options.

What types of payment do you accept?

We use paypal to handle all payments for the convenience and security. You don't need a paypal account to make a payment but can pay directly with a credit card. Unfortunately we're unable to accept other forms of payment at this stage. If you have particularly unique requirements please contact us via our online contact form.

 

When will my order arrive?

Prior to completion of your purchase you will be given an estimated delivery date depending on your location and the available shipping options. You may check the status of your order at anytime by logging into your account and checking your orders.

If your order is overdue and your order tracking account does not state that the order has been dispatched, please contact our us by using the online contact form.

What countries do you deliver to?

We ship to most countries in the world. If your location is not included (you'll find out on checkout) send us an email and we'll see what we can do.

Website Security

At Vezani Publishing we enusre the protection of your private details (address, name etc) by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all transactions involving information passed between your computer and our server. SSL encrypts the data so that no-one will be able to access the data in its original format. When you are on a secure part of our website, you will see the "padlock" icon in your browser, which confirms that any information you send will be in a secure format.

The payment process is conducted directly at Paypal's very secure servers and at no point are any of your credit card or payment details stored on or transmitted through our website or server. Please also see our Privacy Policy.

Where are you based?

Our registered offices are in the Isle of Man (UK) where some books are despatched from. Most of our books are however shipped from the Republic of Ireland. Please see our Terms & Conditions.

What's with the Newsletter?

The newsletter is our way of keeping you updated with what we're up to. New books, promotions or other things outside our website that may interest you or your kids. No third-party marketing or spam, just useful language resources etc. The newsletter is sent out approximately once a month. You're 100% free to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time via the newsletter or by logging into your account and changing your preferences.

Order cancellation and returns

Can I return my item for a refund or exchange?

We are happy to refund or exchange unwanted items that are returned to us within 30 days, provided they are in perfect condition.

Please contact us using the online contact form to obtain a returns authorisation.

For the return of high–value goods, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for non–delivery of returned items.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure safe return of the item and unless the item is faulty or incorrect then this is at the customer's own expense.

How can I return an incorrect, faulty or damaged item?

Should you receive any items that you did not order, or that prove to be faulty, please contact us via the online contact form giving us details of your order.
